CAPITAL OUTLAY COMMITTEE

February 12, 2009

                                                          MINUTES

The meeting of the Capital Outlay Committee was held at 7:30 pm at the Selectmen's Meeting room, Town Hall and was called to order at 7:43 p.m. by Chair Paul Linehan.

Members present:

Chair Linehan began the meeting by saying "on behalf of the Committee and myself, I would like to express condolences to the Bailey family on the passing of George Bailey."

1.  Administrative Items

Approval of Minutes

MOVED:   A. Rutley, and duly seconded be L. Salomons, to accept the meeting minutes of January 15, 2009.  VOTED:  7 ayes - 1 abstention

MOTION: To amend the January 15, 2009 minutes under section 2 deleting Total Kitchen $45,894 and adding Total Technology $242,294.

MOVED:   A. Rutley, and duly seconded by L. Salomons, to accept to amend the January 15, 2009 minutes under section 2 deleting Total Kitchen $45,894 and adding Total Technology $242,294.  VOTED:  7 ayes - 1 abstention

2.  Items Discussed

The following was discussed:

§ Paydown plan based on all items being approved and a target borrowing of 6.0%;

§ Possible re-allocatable funds available - numbers to be finalized at the next meeting;

§ Bill Fowler to revise the Capital Outlay FY'10 request spreadsheet.

The next Capital Outlay Committee meeting will be February 26, 2009,             Thursday, 7:00 p.m. at the Selectmen's Meeting room.

VOTED:  (Salomons /Rutley)  Voted unanimously to adjourn the          meeting at  8:50 p.m.
